	The most recognizable of the recycled symbols, the Mobius Loop belongs to no particular government or official body. Ths symbol can be used to indicate that recycled material is contained in the product or package. According to Consumer and Corporate Affairs' Guiding principles for Environmental Labeling and Advertising, manufacturers should indicate the percentage of recycled material that the product contains wherever the three arrow symbol is used. No minimum percentages are specified as long as qualified statements are made.
	This symbol is used to show that a product or package is recyclable. Consumer and Corporate Affairs have adopted a policy that where a material or product cannot be or is not reasonably expected to be recycled, no claim of recyclability may be made. Where a product is being recycled and a reasonable number of recycling facilities exist for such a product, a claim of recyclability may be made if qualified by the satement "Where facilities exist".
	The EcoLogo is the Environmental Choice Programs' symbol of certification, and has become known as the most sought after environmental seal in North America. Products which are EcoLogo certified must contain a minimum of 50% recycled fibers. A license is required to use the EcoLogo symbol. In today's world, recycled paper is in ever growing demand. At Pioneer approximately 60 % of our product is manufactured from recycled papers. A classic example is our "Recycleope" a product made of over 50% recycled paper including 10 % post-consumer fibre.

Years ago, the industry standard was to use alcohol based inks for printing. Pioneer proudly converted all alcohol based inline printing systems to water based systems. New water based environmentally friendly inks are used. These are less toxic for the environment and are used on 60 % of our products. The balance are printed using rubber based or vegetable based offset inks.

Our window material is either made with Avpexine or Glassine, both of which are recyclable. Glassine is a window material used in envelopes that is made out of wood pulps. Glassine is grease resistant, has a high resistance to the passage of air and is almost impervious to the passage of water vapor. It is smooth and semi-transparent. It is important to note that Glassine is non-compliant with the United States Postal Service (USPS).
